the intertwined fingers, that wonderfulsmile on his face, all the reasons to why his heart felt like it JUMPED out of his chest for that split second. he could feel heat raise to his cheeks, a subtle pink dusting across them (and he cursed himself for not being able to control it.) hiding emotions was hard, really hard.the ace ENJOYED this, even if it wouldn’t be forever, it just felt so natural.
