it doesn’t dawn on him until he’s outside, face RED and in HANDS and breathing slowly becoming STEADY once again, that he’s being a bit STUPID. running out on a DATE like that for no other reason than his DINNER now spilled in his LAP. but it’s his ANXIETYbuilding up that CAN’Tbe helped and causes him to reactIRRATIONALLY even if morisuke KNOWS he’s only making things WORSE. ( and maybe he was just looking for a REASON for this all to go WRONG. )

yet LEV’S VOICE comes before he can convinceLEGS to move and OF COURSE the other would FOLLOW him out, should have seen that coming. the libero doesn’t want to LOOK, ( he’s EMBARRASSED, more so at his OWN ACTIONS now than ANYTHING ELSE. ) though he manages to coax hands DOWN away from his face, giving his DATE( could he even count him as that anymore ? ) a sideways glance.

it was no surprise all lev WANTED to do was IMPRESS him; even if it involved stupid acts, but at what? the cost of his dignity? he felt guilty since he was mostly responsible, no, it was FULLY his fault. they were both INEXPERIENCED(he assumes) with ROMANTIC stuff and dates, so mistakes were BOUND to happen, however just like in the SPORT they play, he can learn from THOSE mess ups.
“ n-no, its NOT your FAULT yaku-san! you shouldn’t feel bad for FEELING overwhelmed, we all get that way.” truth be told, he was a little nervous too because he didn’t want to screw-up and ended doing just that (how ironic.) his gaze is AWAY from his, but nonetheless the ace offers a gentle smile, in hopes to EASE his date’s nerves (at least just a little.)
